IMS brought together global clients at its seventh edition of the IMS Executive Program at Singularity University

Miami, September 11, 2018 – IMS (Internet Media Services) held the seventh edition of its IMS Executive Program, a space for education, networking, development of new trends, and exchange of knowledge among global executives of leading companies in the digital industry.

The event took place at Singularity University, and was attended by more than 90 executives from prestigious brands such as Coca-Cola, Samsung, Uber, Pepsico, Telefonica, Citibanamex, Heineken and Visa, among many others. Through case studies, lectures, shared experiences, and group discussions, attendees developed: a) a fundamental understanding of exponential technologies and trends; b) the benefits of exponential leadership skills and frameworks; and c) defined their value as a leader and member of the team in the digital world.

Over three and a half days, and on the campus that Singularity University has at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, participants discussed how convergent technologies are shaping our ordinary lives, and explored ethical leadership in a world of rapid change . This intensive program was aimed at leading executives with the desire to have a positive impact at scale, and who want to create the future of their organizations, and not simply react to it. “These type of encounters help us to know what is happening and what can be done better. They are really constructive, “said Patricia Corsi, SVP and CMO of Heineken Mexico.

In the IMS Executive Program, students learned what it means to “think exponentially” and develop the knowledge and framework needed to create, design and implement the future.

After this edition, The IMS Executive Program consolidated as a foundational part of the strong commitment to education that IMS has towards the industry among the more than 200 companies and 400 “alumni” who participated historically in any of its 7th editions. As Gastón Calabresi, Growth Marketing Director for UBER in LatAm added, “IMS injects knowledge into the media ecosystem throughout the region.”

The program allowed attendees to understand how the new leaders must lead and communicate a shared purpose (purpose of mass transformation) with their community to maintain their influence in our dynamic industry.

Nuria Giménez, Sr. Manager of Coca-Cola in Spain, said: “One of the promises of the program was the change of mindset and, consequently, I’m going back to my job with my luggage full of duties and things to do. ”

“We are really satisfied with the results obtained. These inspiring and pedagogical days help us to continue developing a close link between digital advertising platforms and the demands of brands and their audiences. Also, they can generate new levels of attraction and improve their digital practices on a daily basis, “concluded Gastón Taratuta, CEO of IMS.
