Advertisers are leveraging on Augmented Reality to bring Colombia’s soccer passion to Snapchat in time for World Cup

Bogota, June 13th, 2018IMS Internet Media Services (IMS) and Snap Inc., creator of Snapchat, are partnering with several brands in Colombia, including Claro and P&G’s Head and Shoulders, to let local users live their passion for the World Cup. Colombian Snapchatters will be able to showcase their support for the national team through a suite of fun augmented reality (AR) experiences.

Snapchat is a great way to reach highly engaged users interested in the World Cup. Creative Snapchat ads can complement sport experiences by reaching an audience that’s willing to engage and learn more. These AR experiences include taking a selfie with James Rodriguez anywhere you are, thanks to Claro; and taking Head & Shoulder’s challenge to change your hairstyle in AR to support the Colombian national team.
