To promote digital skills among young people, IMS signed a collaboration agreement with the Minister for Education and Sports, Esteban Bullrich . Mauricio Macri, Argentina’s President will visit IMS offices on November 21st to make the announcement.

  • Thursday, November 17th at Palacio Pizzurno, the agreement was signed and today it is launched officially with the presence of the President of the Argentine Nation, the Minister for Education and Sports, the Head of Government of Buenos Aires City and the CEO at IMS.


 

  • The agreement will provide access to the Digital Certifications in Native Advertising Mobile Platforms Program: IMS Education.

 

 

Buenos Aires, November 21st 2016.- The Ministry for Education and Sports, through the Instituto Nacional de Educación Tecnológica (INET), and IMS Internet Media Services (IMS), a joint venture with Sony Pictures Television Networks and a leading digital marketing and communications company, signed an agreement to develop activities of common interest in the flied of Education and Training of Human Resources in TICs.

 

Within the framework of the agreement, and meeting the demand of talent of that industry according to the “Capacidades 2020” report, the INET and IMS will offer free access to Digital Certifications in Native Advertising Mobile Platforms Program: IMS Education.

In this way, access to training in Digital Marketing and Mobile Platforms will be provide to students of Technical Professionals public institutions of Argentina, teachers will be trained in technology updates and trends for the educational field, educational materials and resources will be available for students and teachers, among other actions; in order to provide them with knowledge and digital skills required in the current globalized World.

 

The agreement launch occurred today Monday November 21st at IMS Argentina offices with the presence of the President of the Argentine Nation, Eng. Mauricio Macri, the Minister for Education and Sports, Esteban Bullrich; the Head of Government of Buenos Aires City, Horacio Larreta and CEO at IMS, Gastón Taratuta.

This is a Marketplace that represents 7 billion dollars in the region and Argentina have demonstrated to be a great exporter of services and it will continue growing 2 digits in the next 5 years, and we expect this growth to be larger than TV advertising. The Educar 2020 study by the Ministry for Education, indicates that 6,000 new professionals in Argentina in the digital communications and platforms field will be needed, therefore, to extend IMS Education Program along with the Ministry of Education and the INET to the young people of this country, it is an honor considering the possibilities of social and work inclusion that may emerge from this program” expressed Gastón Taratuta, CEO and Founder at IMS.

 

With this agreement, IMS seeks to facilitate the professional education in Marketing and Digital Advertising in the Native Advertising Mobile Platforms across the region. The program “IMS Education” contains today Certifications in Twitter, Foursquare, Waze, Spotify, LinkedIn, Vevo, EA, Programmatic media, and others to come as Snapchat, etc.

 

The Ministry for Education and Sports, through INET, has signed agreements with different companies and organizations: Banco Itaú; Samsung Electronics; Peugeot Citroën; el Consejo de Ingeniería Mecánica y Electricista; “Enseñá por Argentina” Foundation; Toyota Argentina S.A.; Nestlé Argentina S.A.; Loma Negra; Cruz Roja Argentina- with the purpose of promoting joint activities that connect the Professional Technical Education with the work, science, and technology world.
