Gaston Taratuta founded IMS in 2005 and now oversees all IMS sales teams and manages the company’s strategic direction.
He has more than thirteen years of experience in online advertising and began his career as sales manager of Brazil’s Universo Online (UOL),
advancing to President of its subsidiary UOL-E Corp. Gaston is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese. He holds a Master’s degree in international
marketing from Florida International University and has participated in graduate programs at Stanford University. Gaston is based in our Buenos Aires office.
As COO, Ignacio is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day business operations and developing new revenue opportunities.
Ignacio joined IMS after an eleven-year career at MercadoLibre, the only LatAm company publicly traded on the NASDAQ, where he served in several executive positions dedicated to sales,
marketing and business development. He previously worked at McKinsey and Co. Ignacio holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a dual degree, summa cum laude,
in business administration and accounting from the Universidad Católica Argentina. Ignacio is based in our Buenos Aires office.
In her dual role at IMS, Maren is responsible for identifying strategic business and corporate opportunities for the company,
including new products and services; managing IMS’s corporate relationship with Twitter; and leading marketing and communication initiatives.
Prior to IMS, she spent nearly ten years in New York. There, she held management roles in strategy and partnership development at American Express and, previously,
served as Managing Director for Hill & Knowlton (WPP). In LatAm, she has worked extensively with SMEs in media and technology.
Maren graduated magna cum laude from Harvard and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Maren is based in our Buenos Aires office.
Mariano joined IMS in 2011 and manages the company’s regional expansion and client services offerings.
He brings nearly twenty years of management experience in leading media agencies such as Universal McCann, Agulla & Baccetti (Lowe) and, most recently,
MediaCom where he served as CEO for Latin America. Mariano’s expertise in developing key client partnerships and growing their LatAm presence includes work with global brands Citibank,
Danone, MasterCard, Renault, Levi’s, General Motors, and more. Mariano has a degree in business administration from Universidad Católica Argentina and has guest lectured several marketing and advertising courses in Latin America,
USA and Europe. Mariano is based in our Miami office.
Bruno is Partner and VP of Offline Media at IMS. He opened IMS’s Uruguay office in 2007, where the majority of our offline team is based. In addition to managing this team, Bruno manages IMS publisher agreements as well as develops new business with media agencies throughout Latin America. Prior to IMS, he worked as a business development manager at UOL where he was responsible for developing online strategies for the Latin American market. He has also worked at Oki Latin American Divisions, a global VOIP company, where he was responsible for channel distribution in Mexico and other Latin American markets.
Patricia Molina is responsible for the development and management of the IMS Mexico operation, identifying new value proposals for our clients and coordinating the local team. Patricia is a senior executive with more than twenty years of diverse and international work experience, including previous roles as international account director at Leo Burnett, regional account director at Starcom and CEO of Omnicom Media Group Mexico. She has worked in México, Chile, Madrid and Miami and is currently based in our in our Mexico City office.
In his role as Senior Vice President for Partnership Sales Enor leads the creation and development of well-established sales teams. He will lead the commercial teams dedicated to IMS’s exclusive partnerships with companies such as Waze, Spotify, LinkedIn, iAd, Foursquare, Crackle, Vevo and EA, as well as any future partnerships. He joined IMS after having worked since 1996 for Universo Online (UOL). He holds a degree in journalism from the PUC in São Paulo and a Masters from USP. He is based in our São Paulo office.
Christopher Neary is responsible for the development and management of the IMS Chile operation, identifying new value propositions for our customers and coordinating the local team. Christopher brings vast experience in sales and marketing, including previous roles as Marketing Manager of Channel 13 and Digital Media Manager at the same group. He has experience in several industries, mainly in areas of Marketing and Sales in local and multinational companies. He works at the IMS office in Santiago, Chile.
Jaime Guerra is Managing Director of IMS Social, managing advertising on Twitter throughout Spanish-speaking Latin America. Jaime is a senior executive with more than twenty years of multicultural and international work experience, including previous roles as general manager position and regional vice-president at Monster Latin America and pan-regional head of ad sales and marketing for Turner Broadcasting System. Jaime holds a B.S. in Science y Marketing from Pacific Western University, California. Jaime is based in our Mexico City office.
Daniel Alonso is Vice President of Business Development, managing new business opportunities for the company. Daniel brings vast experience in sales and marketing, including extensive international, Hispanic, Fortune 500 and start-up experience, with previous roles as vice president of business development at Terra Networks and senior director of marketing at Univision Enterprises. Daniel holds both an MBA and a BA from the University of Miami. He is based in our Miami office.
As VP of IMS Mobile, Mariana manages our exclusive representation of Waze`s advertising suite with on-the-ground teams in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Guatemala and Miami. She also works with media agencies in Miami on overall digital media planning and strategy. With more than fiften years’ industry experience, and eight years at IMS, Mariana has led the start up of IMS’s performance unit AdNetwork.net – now IMS Connect, opened the IMS Chile office and played an active role in strategic business decisions, talent acquisition and product development. Mariana holds a degree in advertising and comunications from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, and an MBA degree from Business School São Paulo – BSP. Mariana is based in our Miami office.
Juan Manuel Ruiz
Juan Manuel Ruiz is Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration. In this role, he is responsible for the development and implementation of IMS’s financial management strategy and operations, contributing to the company’s strategic goals. Juan has an MBA from the Universidad Austral and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Belgrano. Juan Manuel is based in our Miami office.
Manuela Mantilla McDanal leads IMS’s direct client services team, identifying areas for growth and developing integrated marketing solutions.
She has more than twelve years of multi-platform experience in on- and offline media, having previously worked with clients such as Visa, Samsung, Dell, Avon, HBO, and Nintendo at Starcom Mediavest Group.
