Cesar Ruiz Joins Firm as Vice President, U.S. Sales

to Lead beIN SPORTS BUSINESS

NEW YORK – March, 2014 – Media buying and marketing company IMS Internet Media Services (IMS) has appointed Cesar Ruiz to lead its sales team in the U.S.  In the newly created role of Vice President, U.S. Sales, Ruiz will primarily focus on the advertising sales efforts for the IMS client beIN SPORTS.  Based in IMS’ New York office, Ruiz – formerly the Senior Sales Director at ESPN – will also build and helm IMS’ growing sales and client service teams across the U.S.

IMS recently partnered with international sports network beIN SPORTS to manage and sell national TV advertising and sponsorship packages on beIN SPORTS, beIN SPORTS en Español and beIN SPORTS Play.  Ruiz will soon bring on additional sales executives in major markets across the U.S. who will be dedicated to the beIN SPORTS account.

Ruiz is a seasoned media executive with a successful track record working creatively across multiple assets and platforms having worked at Mexican conglomerate Televisa and Tribune Media Company, among other organizations.  Most recently, he led ESPN Deportes’s national sales efforts out of its New York office.
