IMS Internet Media Services names Maren Lau as Chief Marketing Officer
Buenos Aires, January 13th, 2014 –IMS Internet Media Services, the leading media and marketing company in Latin America, announced that Maren Lau will be their new Chief Marketing Officer, since January 1st. Maren acted as IMS Marketing SVP until December 2013.
During her 5 year in the company, Maren Lau – who is also an IMS Partner – has taken place in several initiatives, such as identifying strategic business and corporate opportunities. She promoted the launch of IMS Social – Twitter´s Ad Sales Partner in Latin America – in eight markets. Plus, Lau coordinated the creation of the Marketing department in april 2013. Which generated a deep impact in thecompany’s positioning and communication, as well as in its products and services. In her new position, Lau will still be in charge of both marketing and IMS Social teams and operations.
When asked about her new role as CMO, Lau is thankful for the opportunity the company given to her, “It is a privilege to assume this new position within IMS, and being part of the success of our growing business, along with a great team”.

Prior to IMS, Maren spent nearly ten years in New York, where she was Manager of Strategy and Partnership Development at American Express and, previously, served as Managing Director for Hill & Knowlton (WPP). In LatAm, she has worked extensively with SMEs in media and technology. Maren graduated magna cum laude from Harvard and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is based in IMS Buenos Aires Offices.
